Soundgarden Reunites

"Nearly immediately after the end of the decade was marked by the ball drop in New York, Chris Cornell gave an unmistakable confirmation pointing towards the imminent Soundgarden reunion though several online outlets.

A post to both his Facebook page and his Twitter feed, read as follows:

"The 12 year break is over and school is back in session. To learn more, sign up now. Knights of the soundtable ride again!" There was also a link to the apparently new www.soundgardenworld.com, with the same message, and a place to enter your name, email, and optional mobile number, for more information.



The band, best known for hits like "Black Hole Sun", "Spoonman", and "Rusty Cage", split at the end of 1997, due to the band's general dissatisfaction. Drummer Matt Cameron had stated that they had been "eaten up by the business." Although rumors have circulated of a reunion, fans remained skeptical due to a lack of official announcements, at least until now.

No further details have been released, in reference to upcoming tours or new music, but it's safe to say more information will be uncovered in the near future."

This is neat, chris cornell is good and i think this could be good as well because the last couple years for chris cornell have been...not good, what do you guys think?
