GEARS 2????

Im really surprised that theres no one saying anything bout gears 2 yet on here... lol or maybe its a sign that everyones playing it anywho whats ur thoughts?

I'm getting sick of all these games where all you do is run, shoot, and hide behind rocks. Seriously, developers need to rethink their strategies or face the next video game crash. Our only hope of an arcade revival lies in the hands of Sega and Capcom.

gears of war 1 was fun as hell, i can only assume gears 2 is as well, i think mike picked it up yesterday so im sure he will let us know about it

I'll admit the in-house multiplayer in the 1st was fun, I always played that guy with the long ass flap thingys.. I don't know who or what he was so I just cal him alligator man. I'll never buy a FPS for campaign mode or online alone.. except MAG, but I'm still on the fence, I'll probly just rent that. In-house is so much more fun than online just for the fact you're playing with yer buddy and can slap them around n lip them off and see each others reactions to everything, online just gets boring and zombie-like.

I have CoD4, but no I don't have the others, I might get Res2 but probly not until it's a greatest hit.

I rented the 1st one, but that was a long time ago.. I don't know what I woulda been playing when u were down.. all I remember is Battlefront 2 as far as FPS go.

well i heard from a friend the GoW2 is pretty fun and all but after the first hour or 2 its just like the other FPS's... so personally i dont think its much of a buy type of game.. maybe a rent if you wanna hold a body in front of you as they shoot it.. but other then that i hear it wasnt worth waiting up till midnight for the stores to open to get the first copies

It's a TPS, but yeah.. and you could do the hold people's bodies in fron of your guy since Metal Gear Solid 2 on the ps2.

Maybe I was playing the demo? Idano I doubt it, I haven't even had that since I 1st got my ps3.

lmao.. fuck man i had to drive home today in that shit rain, im almost possitive some chick hit the ditch behind me when i took a corner and lost her behind some trees.. ppl were so stupid today, i was going 110 hit black ice try and slow down and ppl were trying to pass me while vehicles were like 10 feet ahead of me lol...

Back to the gears topic... Its fuckin fun as hell. Great single player and amazing multiplayer modes. I like Horde where you have a group of 5 guys online that just battle waves of enemies that get tougher every round. Resistance just seems the lame ps3 shit version of Gears.

On a side topic.. Saw Little Big Planet last night on the ps3... looks fuckin awesome, finally theres a game that actually warrants having such a shit console, other than just using it as a bluray player.

I'm doing a 60 second review on gears 2. Should be out on monday.

Might do a longer review too but all around I'm enjoying it. A little short but thats how it goes.
