Zelda II: Love or Hate?

i never got into this game, its just so bad (in my opinion) i just never got into it. i want to like it. i used to not like a link to the past. i didn't hate it as much but lately ive picked it up and really got into it, now its my 3rd fav zelda game next to ocarina and the original. anyways back on topic, zelda II, share your thoughts.

I wouldn't put it on any top 10 list but when I was growing up I played the shit outa this game. My uncle had it and I used to play it whenever I was at his place, then one day he sold his NES and all his games and he gave me Zelda II(offered to give me Double Dragon III but I hate the shit outa that game). I've never beaten it, I just level grind all the time.. stupid growing up on Dragon Quest..

i use to play it here and there.. never really liked any zelda game actually, i didnt hate them but wouldnt put any of them in my top 100 fav games

i have it on the collector's edition ofr gamecube and i play it now and then to try to like it and i can't wait til i do cause its the ONLY zelda gae i don't like

except for the ones on CD-i

Personally, I like the game more than the first Zelda. The game gets a whole lot of unneeded shit thrown at it in my opinion. Yes, it's hard as fuck, but you know what? When I beat that game, it gave me such a sense of satisfaction that most games rarely can accomplish.

Zelda II was one of the first games that I got for the Virtual Console. And I don't regret the purchase for one second.

Thas awesome. It's statements like yours that proves everyone is a completely different person and thas cool. I do own it and I think I got to like the 6th temple but I've never beaten it

Nevered fully played the game but i do have to say its very different from other zelda games, not that its a bad thing mind you.

THis is the best game ever made.

First NES game I ever owned, and I played it till by balls stuck to the back of my calfs in the nintendo position. When I think back on this game, I get memories of a huge world to explore full of different terrian, cool boss battles, awesome moves ( the downward thrust is the best video game move ever, and its an even cooler move to pull on a lass.)

Nostalgia plays a huge part, but fuck it, this game is what started my horrble addiction of video games. Retro games are the best and its on the top.

Sorry for the Zelda 2 gasm.
