ugh, I really didn't think my laptop would be able to handle it as well as it did... what with it only having a 37gb partition to run off (with XP Pro on the other partition). like seriously, 1.8ghz, 1gb ram, some unknown onboard videocard...i thought it would chug like hell.
The only thing i'm really hating about Vista so far is the gay file directory.
it honestly took me about 10 minutes to find out where Google Chrome got installed, just so i could throw a new theme in there to cover up its default ugliness. and the way i found it was having to right click on the Chrome shortcut and find out where the shortcut links to, copy that path and paste it in the nav-bar. otherwise, it probably would have taken me twice as long to find it.
oh ya, and the 653mbs of extra crap that has to be downloaded AND installed as soon as you're done installing the OS...
also, the gay "Are you sure you want to install this?" pop-up. every single time you want to install something.
like, you'd think that after downloading it, opening it, hitting the "run" button, then hitting the "install" button would kind of be a hint that you want to install with... but Vista just has to make sure, without letting you do anything else until you actually assure it that you're wanting to install the drivers needed to run your computer the way it's supposed to, that it was automatically downloading from the MS home base.

PS, google chrome sucks for typing in forum reply boxes until you have a reply long enough to have the window start scrolling down.
